Welcome! We are Kelley and Carl.
Since 2020 we have been traveling the world together. We visited our very first US National Park on our honeymoon and have been hooked ever since. We have decided to make it our mission to travel now while we are young and healthy instead of waiting until retirement. We both work full time and prioritize maximizing our PTO to hike, experience, and explore all of the beauty that this earth has to offer. Our primary goal at this point is to visit all 63 US National Parks, but we are excited to see where this journey takes us!

What Sparked Us To Travels
We both grew up traveling but in two very different ways. Carl’s family spent summers and holidays road-tripping along the East Coast to visit family. These trips took him through Florida, New York, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Vermont, and Virginia, where he developed an appreciation for both the natural beauty of these regions and the joy of exploring new places. Carl also had the opportunity when he was 12 to travel to Australia and New Zealand through the People-to-People program. That unforgettable experience left a lasting impression, igniting a deep-seated desire to return to both countries later in life.
Kelley’s family spent a lot of time road tripping around the US and into parts of Canada. Their trips had more of a focus on exploring National Parks and hidden gem spots along the way. Although she got to see a lot of National Parks, it was oftentimes more of a glimpse as they did very little hiking or deeper exploration of the parks. Also, these trips often involved very little planning and had much more of a let’s see where the road takes us feel. Through these travels, Kelley grew an appreciation for how vast and unique North America really is.
While we both traveled a lot growing up, we both had a deep desire to continue exploring. On our honeymoon, we visited our first 2 National Parks together (Arches & Canyonlands) and that set us on the journey to explore all 63. We are definitely hooked now and cannot wait to see them all!
FAQ’s
Favorite Travel Memory
While we have made lots of memories throughout all of our trips, the two that stand out the most was the time we got to kayak for free on Lake Louise in Canada and heli-hiking and bungee jumping in New Zealand.
Favorite Travel Activity
We love hiking, kayaking, visiting beaches, or any body of water for that mater, finding local ice cream shops, and watching sunsets. Read our travel guides for our top tips from the places we have visited.
Favorite National Park
We have thoroughly enjoyed all of the destinations we have traveled to which makes it hard to settle on one. Kelley’s current favorite national park is Glacier. Carl really enjoys all of the Utah national parks and if he had to pick one it would probably be Bryce Canyon.
